Robert earned IABC accreditation in 1992. He served on the IABC executive board from 1994-97, was an IABC district director and served as president of IABC/Richmond in 1993 and 2003. He also has been an adjunct faculty member of Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Mass Communication.
